BIOY Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
BIOY collects minimal information required to provide your link-in-bio creator profile service:
- Account Credentials: Email address, username, display name, profile avatar, and authentication provider metadata managed securely via Firebase Authentication.
- Profile Content: Public custom links, social profile links, and chosen appearance theme configurations.
- Custom Domains: Configured hostname and DNS verification status records for Pro users.
- Aggregate Analytics: Non-personally identifiable profile view counts, link clicks, referral domains, and user-agent strings.
2. Visitor Privacy & Analytics
We prioritize visitor privacy. BIOY analytics measure profile views and link click performance without using invasive cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell visitor browsing data to third-party ad networks.
3. Data Protection & Security
Your account authentication is secured by Firebase Authentication. Sessions are managed securely via HTTP-only encrypted session cookies and Firestore security rules enforce explicit user ownership verification.
4. Custom Domains & Public Exposure
Content published on your BIOY profile page (including bioy.in/username or your verified custom domain) is public by design. Do not include private sensitive information on your public creator profile.
5. Account Deletion & Rights
You maintain full control of your data. You may delete your BIOY account anytime at /dashboard/settings. Account deletion permanently removes your profile, custom links, social profiles, and domain connections.
